I won't write a whole rant against the elements, so let me just leave it at this: Mother Nature and I are not getting along today. I've got a bone to pick with you, disastrous wind, but I won't use this forum to do so. I'll be seeing you tomorrow on the roof. Let's see if we can act like grown-ups this time, k?
It's funny, when I was a kid, I thought UO was so glamorous and adult. When I grew up, I just thought that they were over priced and too focused at being the hipster store of choice (tied with American Apparel). But lately, the percentage of Urban in my closet has been on the rise. This dress is a perfect example, the result of a random shopping day last summer. Plain and simple, yet chic and perfect for both a dinner date or just sunbathing outside of a local cafe.
On the topic of shoes- what's up with kitten heels not getting nearly enough love in the fashion world? Granted, a short girl like myself should probably covet stilettos but I was hit by a car a couple years ago and my ankle never healed correctly. I'm slowly learning how to walk in heels again, but flats and small heels will always be preferable. And how irresistibly retro and sultry do these look? Go Jane is a great resource with dozens of styles and colors, all super cheap!
At the risk of sounding like a crazy cat lady (too late!), I can't get over how refreshing it is to have my cats back in the apartment again. They even supervise my photoshoots!

I am, and Ray moved in too! We definitely need to stoop it pronto. My place is kinda funny because all the weirdos from Di Nic's crawl over, but it makes for good entertainment. And you definitely need to meet Wumpus and Henry- they're always stoked to make new friends.
ReplyDeletevery cute ! love the rooftop view you have!

I LOVE this look -- classic, and the red sunglasses really take it over the edge. I'm so into your long side bride à la Prada, too; I cannot WAIT until my hair is long enough to do that which at the rate I'm going will be in like two years. I think I need to come to Philly to get in on this front stoop action you and Hal are talking about!
ReplyDeleteDurr, side *BRAID that is.
