Talk about a total turn around. Ray and I are back on great terms and I think I'm finally kicking this cold. I even knocked a few items off my to-do list by mailing in my taxes (oh hello tax return! I will see you in the form of spring/summer clothes), sending out transcript requests so I can finish my application to UPenn, and calling my grandparents for the first time in at least six months. I meant to go to the gym, but I spent two and a half hours cleaning our awful kitchen, so I think that counts as cardio.
I actually didn't get a chance to enjoy the nice weather until later in the evening (due to the aforementioned chores), so today's outfit was more lounge-oriented than street chic. I didn't even straighten my hair, a rare occasion that only happens about once every few months. I tried to play around with mixing patterns without being over dramatic. I think it works, no? I also love the hidden details of the pieces- the full zipper back of the tank top, the horizontal straight laces vs vertical stripes of the shoes, the bicycle on the necklace.

P.S. A quick note about the necklace. This was a gift from Ray's sister, Amanda, for Channukah. Not only does she make amazing jewelry, but she's also an incredible chef. She's got a super rad, smart, witty blog One Tough Cupcake. If you're into food blogs, or just like staring at pictures of delicious pastries, check her out!
dude that's such a cute top and the necklace is awesome. xo
