Right Back At You

Oh sweet justice. After a super satisfying workout, Ray and I got lunch at Black & Brew before heading to the Italian Market to buy used books and get ingredients for dinner. Who happens to be there, but his ex-girlfriend who moved to Philadelphia from Orlando a couple weeks ago? Who knows if she even saw us, but I praise god that I put some thought into a cute outfit rather than slumming it in my ratty gym clothes. What can I say, it was too gorgeous not to take advantage with this cute dress that I picked up when I used to live in California.

My beloved IRO Angus.

I bought some John Freda Frizz-Ease last night and used it on my hair today. My hair was still damp in the picture, but can you tell? It's looking and feeling so much better that I may ditch my straightening iron for the summer. I also noticed that my dirty blond roots are coming in super hard. I've got a box of hair dye color remover. Do I return to a lighter look for the spring, or should I re-dye?

  1. I'm sorry, did you say hair dye colour remover? I've been dying my hair for so long I don't even really know what my real hair colour is. Please. Details.

  2. I'm not sure if they exist in Toronto, but in the United States, there's a pharmacy chain called Rite-Aid that carry's a brand of hair dye remover called "Color Oops". It comes in maximum strength and maximum conditioning. I've used it a few times and it varies between removing the dye and lightening my hair, similar to beach (although it says that there's no bleach or ammonia in the formula). I'd definitely recommend it, but you my need to re-color to your ultimate desired shade if you're lightening it from black.
